| I've been helping people become their own "brand". Girls like Mystique, Catye, and Angela Ryan are all promoting themselves (usually as models) and building brand awareness.
Unfortunately, a lot of the ideas I have are too extreme for them, or take a lot of effort to execute. I can't have all the motivation for the people I'm helping, so a lot of these good ideas fall by the wayside.
The other day I thought -- why not try to apply some of these things to myself?
The only drawback is -- I'm not a model, I don't have a band (or musical talent), and really -- at the end of the day -- I'm an idea guy and a web developer.
The journey itself could be an interesting thing though -- I was thinking about putting together a website documenting the steps it takes to create a personal brand...after all, I already have a personal site (jeffreyberthiaume.com), a promotional site (hirejeffrey.com), and this "blog"...it wouldn't be too hard to create promotional merchandise and start promoting myself as a "personality".
